Recreate Packaging 2012

In the first Recreate Packaging contest in 2012, Stora Enso challenged young designers to recreate cosmetics and personal care packaging. Since then, the award-winning packages have been showcased in a number of exhibitions and events worldwide. They have caught the attention of designers, marketers and packaging developers.

The Recreate Packaging 2012 competition was open to design students at selected universities and art academies around the world. The best entries in the competition have the potential to replace large volumes of plastics and unrecyclable materials in primary packaging of cosmetics and elegance care products. The award-winning cream package, for example, could be used for shampoos, oils and many other product families. These designs are truly unique. They make the most of their material and boast a top-quality finish and beautiful presentation – all made from paperboard.
