Tactic relies on Finnish quality

​The story of internationally known game manufacturer Tactic begun in 1967 in Finland. Then the family business brought board game Kimble to stores in Finland. Nowadays the company has about 200 employees in Finland, of which about quarter works in game production. The company believes that acting in Finland is a solid sign of quality. It’s marketing network enables production in Finland and sustainable usage of natural resources. 85 procent of company’s games, puzzles and playing cards are manufactured in Pori in Finland.

Tactic relies on Finnish quality also in it’s rawmaterials. The company uses the board and paper from the Stora Enso Imatra Mills. Playing cards and for example the gameboard of the classic game Kimble are made of Ensocoat 2S board from Board Machine 2. Ensocoat 2S is a high quality board suitable for demanding graphical printing. Also Lumilabel Linen paper from Paper Machine 6 is used in Tactic’s games. Annually approximately five million gamebox are covered with it. 

The classic game Kimble is the favourite game of Markku Heljakka, CEO of Tactic. Kimble can be found in eight different versions in stores at the moment. The gameboard and gamebox are made out of Stora Enso Imatra Mills’ board and paper.
