Innovation Centre

For future renewable packaging

The Innovation Centre for packaging is a venue for innovation and R&D work, with the purpose to offer deep collaboration in workshops in an inspiring space. The Innovation Centre offers, among other things, a packaging design lab, presentation areas with advanced audiovisual technology, virtual reality retail analysis technology and intelligent packaging demonstrations, as well as package design and prototyping equipment.  The Innovation Centre for packaging is located in Stora Enso’s head office in Helsinki.

The Innovation Centre is primarily targeted towards customers, including converters and manufacturers, brand owners and retailers. The principle is to increase engagement with key customers and other stakeholders by meeting, learning and sharing thoughts that will bring out new ideas and innovations throughout the value chain, benefiting customers and consumers. The focus is on innovations, based on mega trends and retail- and consumer insights, creating value from our customers and all the way to the end-customers, while also reducing environmental impact and total cost.
